Our History

In 1997, Jake founded eyecandy SIGNS INC. with a passion and determination to raise the bar for
creative sign systems.

Jake Ethridge was first introduced to the sign industry at just 16 when his friend Scott Sherwood asked Jake to lend a hand at the sign company he was working for. Jake was soon hired and worked with Scott for 10 years before leaving the company to branch out on his own.

In 2014, 27 years after first working together, Jake was excited to bring Scott onboard as eyecandy’s production manager, where they continue to work shoulder-to-shoulder.

In 2005 Allison Moz joined eyecandy as creative director. Allison focused on expanding the company’s product line and applying the team’s creative strengths to large scale wayfinding projects. Allison trained a team of wayfinding experts who design and implement wayfinding packages from start to finish with a commitment to accessible wayfinding.

Since our inception, providing stunning design, exceptional quality, and attentive customer service has been at the heart of what we do. Many of eyecandy’s first signs are still hanging and have become local landmarks; a testament to the quality of our fabrication.

As our reputation grew, so did our business. We have a strong team of talented individuals, and while we continue to be known for our boutique signs, we have become national leaders in accessibility and wayfinding systems, and go-to signage experts in large construction projects.

Our work has been recognized across North America and has received international attention for exceptional design and craftsmanship.
